Rum Retort is open at the following times, and by appointment. The exhibition is free to enter, and all are welcome - dress warmly! Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a guided tour.

GETTING TO THE TOBACCO WAREHOUSE

The Tobacco Warehouse is located at 2 Haig Street, Greenock, PA15 1JG.

Both Greenock Central and Greenock West rail stations are within 10-minutes walking distance: trains depart for Greenock regularly from Glasgow, and the journey takes between 30 and 40 minutes. By bus, McGill's run 3 services between Glasgow and Greenock (901 and 907), with a journey time just under 1 hour. Via the A8, the journey by car to the warehouse takes approximately 40 minutes; on-street parking can be found nearby.

Please note that the exhibition is located on the second floor of the Tobacco Warehouse. Unfortunately due to circumstances outwith our control, the second floor is accessible only via two flights of stairs. A video walk-through of the exhibition will be available on the ground floor of the building and online. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor of the warehouse.
